Storyline
The story starts with a cheerful child named Aiden. She spent her days enjoying dancing and performing on stage while her parents have been recording their happy moments. As time passes, Aiden stopped
dancing to complete her high school and university education, and soon entered society to start working. Initially, she approached her work with a positive mindset but soon realized that the real world could
be challenging, causing stress and a loss of trust in others. Aiden began isolating herself from the outside world, unwilling to let anyone in. That causes her negative emotions started to affect those around
her, both in person and online.
One day, as Aiden made her way to work, she felt a sense of relaxation and happiness. She had recently met up with her high school friends and enjoyed a restful night's sleep, which felt good for her since
she had not had a good sleep for several days already. However, upon arriving at her workplace, she attended a meeting, and her leader gave some feedback on the project that had finished and scolded her
for some reason. After the meeting ended, she was assigned by her leader to work more than usual, which made her feel unhappy, but she continued her work.
She walked to the water dispenser to get some water as she worked since she was thirsty. Her boss noticed this and decided to give her additional work because she had the idea that Aiden was lacking off.
She explained, but her leader was yet unhappy that she had taken water halfway through her job. She walked back to her seat and rudely declined her friends' invitations to lunch out of annoyance. She
started feeling wronged and angry because she had just been scolded for an invalid reason. She took her phone out and succumbed to her emerging negative side, transforming into a metaphorical devil as
she vented her frustrations online and allowed negativity to seep into every aspect of her life.
When Aiden returned home from work, she was overwhelmed with stress, so she laid on her bed and wanted to spend some time alone. After a while, she received a message from her leader assigning her
to do some extra work. Even though she was unwilling to do the work, she still started the extra work that her leader gave her. While working, she looked down and received a message from her colleague an
image of her leader's Instagram story showing her having fun in the bar with her friend which made her feel unfair. At the same time, her mother kindly asked if she would like to take a shower, but Aiden,
consumed by her negative emotions, responded rudely, and remained unresponsive. Sensing her sister's distress, Aiden's sister entered her room and attempted to console her, providing a listening ear and
offering support.
She refused and went out of her room, slamming the door, and went out to the park running, trying to express her emotions. When she finally stopped running and stood there panting, it suddenly rained. The
raindrops on her made her feel a desire to dance in the rain, so she danced. She danced alone in the rain and imagined that she was a dancer on stage. After some time, the rain stopped as she stopped.
By dancing in the rain make her feel better and looked up to the sky, feeling better and shouted out the stress that made her express her emotions. She noticed that dancing could make her feel better and
happier.
After dancing, she went home and looked for the key, but discovered that she wasn't carrying it with her. Aiden mother was waiting for her to come home at the same time, so when she knocked, she quickly
opened the door for her. As soon as she saw Aiden, she noticed that Aiden had mended her own feeling because of the pleasant smile on her face.
Reflection
To create a storyboard for Assignment 2, I initially developed the storyline. However, as I reached the midpoint, I found myself stuck and unsure about how to conclude the narrative. Fortunately, I sought feedback from my teacher, which helped me complete the story successfully. While working on the storyboard, the most challenging aspect was researching the appropriate art style and incorporating colors to enhance the visual appeal. Nevertheless, through this assignment, I gained new skills and became more proficient in defining and analyzing problems to arrive at effective solutions.
